About The Position

The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Maintenance Trades Supervisor on a permanent basis for their Maintenance & Reliability team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK. The role offers an opportunity to make a real impact by leading people, driving safety, and delivering results.

Requirements

8+ years of progressive trades experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience.
Grade 12 diploma plus an Interprovincial Journeyperson or Proficiency certificate in one of the designated trades within Saskatchewan (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Must be able to complete a criminal record background check and a substance test.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Pipefitter trade.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of trade employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Set safety, performance, and development expectations for all trade groups and conduct regular field audits to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in a cost-effective manner aligned with maintenance schedules.
Lead, mentor, and supervise direct reports, including performance management, attendance, and disciplinary processes.
Assign and direct work based on employee competencies to optimize productivity and outcomes.
Identify and resolve work delays and roadblocks to support timely repairs and review completed work orders for accuracy and quality.
Support the development and monitoring of daily and weekly schedules to meet operational and customer needs.
Develop and implement safe work practices and procedures for the trade team.
Promote a strong safety culture through initiatives such as stretch programs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
Contribute to asset management strategies, including equipment repair plans, reliability improvements, and upgrade recommendations.
