About The Position
Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Trades Helper to provide Program Engineering Services to Commander, Naval Submarine Force Atlantic-COMSUBLANT (TYCOM), Submarine Squadron Six and Eight (CSS-6/8) and Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF New London) Support. This role involves assisting skilled maintenance trades by performing tasks of lesser skill, such as supplying materials and tools, cleaning work areas, and holding materials or tools for journeymen. The specific duties may vary depending on the trade, ranging from basic support to performing specialized machine operations or parts of a trade.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Keeping a worker supplied with materials and tools.
- Cleaning working area, machine, and equipment.
- Assisting journeyman by holding materials or tools.
- Performing other unskilled tasks as required by journeyman.
