About The Position

Perform maintenance trade tech work including general maintenance and repairs for facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, grounds maintenance, and other building systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
• Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep the campus in functioning and serviceable condition.
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists or pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
• Adheres to Lipscomb’s safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward all employees, students and co-workers.
