About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting. The position also requires serving as a leader for a maintenance crew, driving to multiple locations daily, and performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to lift heavy equipment of 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
Proven experience in all areas of maintenance.
Knowledge of employment, equipment, and safety procedures.
Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
Follow oral and written instructions.
Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Maintain work logs.
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs occasionally, and 10 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

Perform basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures.
Perform basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, and plugs.
Repair lighting systems.
Identify and perform basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks.
Open clogged lines and drains.
Maintain and monitor septic system.
Apply and prepare various surfaces for paint.
Perform general maintenance and repair to cabinet doors and drawers, interior and exterior doors.
Serve as leader of a maintenance crew.
Drive to numerous locations throughout each workday.
Perform any of duties as assigned by management.
