About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Shared Laundry Warehouse in Springfield, Illinois. The role performs maintenance and troubleshooting duties involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of the facility’s highly automated laundry equipment. The technician independently takes responsibility for preventive maintenance of assigned equipment. The position is in the Shared Laundry department, within Support Services, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift. The stated pay range is $20.00–$29.00; actual pay depends on factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. HSHS is a healthcare system serving Illinois and Wisconsin through 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or related vocational training is required.
Three years of facilities and mechanical experience is desired.
