About The Position

As a Mobile Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

General maintenance skills
Mechanical skills
Basic electrical
Basic plumbing
Basic carpentry
Residential HVAC experience
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
Basic math skills; ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
5 years of general maintenance experience
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5–7 years of job-related experience
Universal License required
Valid Driver's License required
Must live within a 30-mile radius of the Northern KY / Ohio work location
Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Safety-specific background check with drug screen and MVR required

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
Manage and track completion.
Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Conduct building inspections.
Perform general building maintenance.
Perform light plumbing.
Perform light electrical work.
