Requirements

• Minimum two years’ mechanical maintenance and one-year industrial electrical experience required
• Experience working in confined areas with widely varying temperature conditions
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Ability to work weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

• Electrical training preferred
• Experience using a CMMS / Work Order system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE when required
• Responsible for following all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures
• Meet daily with the Maintenance Supervisor to define daily priorities
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Perform maintenance service request tasks as needed
• Assist with bench-work repairs to help maintain spare parts inventory
• Identify opportunities for decreasing variation and cost of operation in processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Assist with emergency response situations in the plant
• Comply with all plant safety and personnel policies
