About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading a variety of production equipment, facility systems, and building infrastructure. This hands-on position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment reliability.

Requirements

  • Candidates will be considered based on a combination of maintenance experience, technical aptitude, education, certifications, and demonstrated skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ramsey Maintenance Test score of 40 or higher and/or relevant industrial maintenance experience.
  • Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in a Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics, Robotics, or related technical field preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, and equipment repairs.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.
  • Strong communication, judgment, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Willingness to work alternate shifts as needed for training, vacation coverage, or business requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
  • Perform product and machine changeovers on manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
  • Install, modify, rebuild, and upgrade production equipment and facility systems.
  • Lead or participate in maintenance projects from planning through completion based on experience and skill level.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and maintenance software to document repairs, labor, and parts usage.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
  • Operate a variety of fabrication, machining, welding, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, GMP requirements, and SQF standards.
  • Train, mentor, and support fellow maintenance team members as needed.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment.
