About The Position

This role involves performing semi-skilled and skilled assignments in various maintenance areas including electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, locksmith, HVAC, and landscaping for facility construction, maintenance, and repair projects. The technician will operate tools and equipment safely, maintain them in good working order, and conduct assessments to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently. Responsibilities also include responding to emergency maintenance requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable fields of maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Ability to use hand and power tools related to maintenance tasks.
• Two plus years of trade or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs semi-skilled and skilled assignments in electrical, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, locksmith, HVAC, and landscaping for facility construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
• Operates hand tools, power tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles competently and safely, using appropriate safeguards and safety equipment.
• Maintains hand tools, power tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring they are clean after use and in safe working order according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Fabricates metal/wood walls in new and old construction environments; hangs and finishes drywall; primes and paints wall surfaces; installs and repairs flooring; installs and repairs ceiling tiles.
• Requests, inventories, picks up, and delivers equipment and supplies required for project completion, ensuring efficient use of materials and resources.
• Conducts routine and on-demand assessments of assigned maintenance areas, establishing priorities for maintenance tasks and ensuring timely and thorough completion of tasks and projects according to customer needs.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests, as assigned.
