About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to work orders, performing general repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance on various hotel areas and equipment. This role also involves maintaining the pool area, ensuring the external property appearance, and keeping maintenance areas clean and organized. The technician will need basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool, and elevator operations, and must be able to operate common power and hand tools safely. Collaboration with team members and other departments is also a key aspect of this role, along with performing additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Responds to reported work orders and performs general repairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
• Assists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes.
• Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot.
• Ensures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and secured.
• Maintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation.
• Operates common power and hand tools safely.
• Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
