About The Position

Renaissance Raleigh Hotel is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech to join their engineering team. This role is responsible for keeping all equipment in good working order through routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks. The technician will also assist the Chief Engineer with building and grounds maintenance, ensure a safe environment for guests and staff by meeting all safety standards, and provide professional and courteous service to guests. The position requires being a team player, assisting in other departments when needed, and being knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Job Safety Analysis guides.

Requirements

High school diploma or certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical (a plus).
Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance or engineering in a hotel or similar environment.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Familiarity with safety standards and procedures (OSHA knowledge preferred).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
