About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will work exclusively on the automation portion of the facility, performing preventive maintenance (PMs) on automation machines that process items to be distributed.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

  • 0–2 years of job-related experience.
  • Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders.
  • Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
  • Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  • Work exclusively on the automation portion of the facility.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on automation machines that process items to be distributed.
