About The Position

Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures. Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities. Perform general building maintenance. Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area. Machine uptime/downtime management. Support Kaizen and other related activities. Work with the Engineering department to improve processes. Utilize TPS (Toyota Production System) techniques, as trained according to the training plan, to standardize process/methods, identify waste, methodically eliminate waste and standardize the new process/methods. Maintain daily 5S, as a component of TPS, in the work area and with assigned equipment. Understand and follow the TB Way philosophy, as trained according to the training plan, and adhere to the philosophy within a team-oriented environment. Work beyond the regular schedule, which could include daily and weekend overtime, as required to meet the Just-In-Time demands of the plant. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic

  • Mandatory overtime flexibility
  • Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime.
