About The Position

The Reserve at Moonlight is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our 294-unit property in Gardner, KS. You’ll play a key role in providing an outstanding living experience for our residents by taking ownership of general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance. This role includes a $500 Sign-On Bonus, paid out in two installments at 90 and 180 days.

Requirements

2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred
EPA universal license for HVAC required
CPO license preferred
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer
Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer proficiency preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment residents are proud to call home.
Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, serving as a trusted set of eyes and ears to protect the property and its residents.
Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks so new residents walk into a flawless home on day one.
Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring peace of mind for residents when urgent issues arise.
