About The Position
30A Escapes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This role is responsible for completing assigned work orders for homeowners, performing general maintenance and repairs including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and handling on-call emergencies. The ideal candidate can work with limited supervision and is available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands. Responsibilities include performing work order maintenance repairs, keeping accurate records, and performing scheduled maintenance on all equipment according to manufacturer recommendations. Specific duties involve troubleshooting and repairing A/C units (fan motors, thermostats, conductors), performing light electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuits, and conducting light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages and replacing fittings. The role also includes replacing or repairing broken glass, tile, and screens, and assisting homeowners with remodeling projects, including the pickup and delivery of owner purchases like appliances and furniture.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a valid driver's License
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- Night and weekend availability required
Responsibilities
- Completing assigned work orders for homeowners
- Performing general maintenance and repairs including painting, carpentry, and plumbing
- Handling on-call emergencies
- Performing scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on manufacturer’s recommendations and operating manuals
- Troubleshooting and making repairs to A/C units (fan motors, thermostats, conductors, etc.)
- Performing light electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc.
- Performing light plumbing work, such as clearing stoppages, resetting toilets, replacing fittings, etc.
- Replacing or repairing broken glass, tile, screens, etc.
- Assisting homeowners with remodeling projects, including pickup and delivery of owner purchases such as appliances and/or furniture
- Keeping accurate records on daily work
