About The Position

Frontier Door and Cabinet is experiencing tremendous growth, with high market potential, and is seeking a hardworking, dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of factory equipment and buildings. You will also be responsible for a variety of upkeep assignments for the facility.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of maintenance experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to work any required schedule needed for the facility needs
  • Certification from college or technical school preferred but not required. As demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials
  • Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
  • Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment in all the aforementioned areas
  • Heavy lifting may be required. Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds alone, up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial components such as motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, servos, sensors, and switches
  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial pneumatic system components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and solenoids
  • Perform tool offset corrections and position adjustments on multi-axis automated CNC equipment
  • Maintain required repair and work logs
  • Prioritize repairs to meet efficiencies and the needs of the production plant
  • Provide routine preventative upkeep on equipment and work with production personnel to maintain and improve quality
  • Perform some fabrication work
  • Work with Production personnel to maintain and improve quality
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment
