Monarch is searching for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at Woodhollow Apartments, a 370-unit community in Maryland Heights, MO. Requirements

At least 1 year of maintenance experience
Experience with drywall, painting, and carpentry
Knowledge of plumbing, including sweating copper pipes
Working knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and light fixtures
Ability to diagnose and repair appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and garbage disposals
Familiarity with both electric and gas water heaters
Valid driver’s license required
A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process
Pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening
A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process

Nice To Haves

HVAC Certification and EPA Certification strongly preferred
CPO Certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Complete work orders efficiently and according to priority
Turn apartments between resident occupancy (Make Ready)
Paint and stain interiors and exteriors as needed
Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
Maintain property grounds and complete preventative maintenance
Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
Share 24/7 emergency coverage duties with other team members
