About The Position

Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the building and facilities. This is a full-time position located at our Paris, KY office. The work schedule is 3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am with overtime as needed. Training will be on day shift for the first 90 days.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years applicable direct experience in a similar position.
• Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems required.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
• Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
• Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.
• Answers security alarm calls as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
