About The Position

At Bedrock Property Management, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to be a key team player in the upkeep of the property. This role involves responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly, requiring a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs. Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company-utilized software.
  • Meet task deadlines as assigned.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC): Required for technicians handling refrigerants in HVAC systems. Ensures compliance with federal environmental regulations. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment.
  • HVAC Certification: May include certifications such as HVAC Excellence or equivalent that validate HVAC-specific technical skills. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification: Demonstrates general workplace safety knowledge, particularly valuable in construction and technical environments.
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator): Beneficial for roles involving pool and spa maintenance; includes training in water quality, safety, and mechanical systems.
  • Plumbing or Electrical Licenses: Depending on state requirements, licenses or certifications in plumbing or electrical work are advantageous and support a broader range of maintenance capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to service requests and complete repairs promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of property by maintaining and repairing issues across parking lot, buildings, and all common areas.
  • Clean out vacated apartments.
  • Assist the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed.
  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all residents proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
  • Pick up debris and remove other objects from the property.
  • Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Provide professional and timely responses to all work orders.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
