About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carpentry, painting, event set up and take downs, miscellaneous minor electrical work and minor plumbing repairs. This role ensures all building property is properly maintained, including furniture moving, arrangement, and placement of equipment. The technician will carry out frequent checks of all areas, reporting any faults using the correct procedure, and ensuring the safe, correct, and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials. Performs other maintenance duties as needed. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.

Requirements

Experience in carpentry
Experience in painting
Experience with event set up and take downs
Experience with minor electrical work
Experience with minor plumbing repairs
Ability to ensure all building property is properly maintained
Ability to move, arrange, and place equipment
Ability to carry out frequent checks of all areas and report faults
Ability to ensure safe, correct, and economical use of equipment and cleaning materials
Ability to perform inspections and repairs to interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting
