About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable shift. This position performs maintenance on factory equipment, troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The role involves using and interpreting advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment, responding to requests for equipment repair, and maintaining and managing components and replacement part inventories. This position requires limited supervision and is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

Availability to work variable shifts, with the understanding that your assigned shift will not be confirmed until after training
1+ year of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience
1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley).
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with CNCs, lathes, and fabrication equipment.
1+ years of mechanical troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
1+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience utilizing volt-ohm meters and electrical system drawings.
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Responsibilities
