About The Position

JEGS is seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment throughout its distribution center. The role involves working with conveyor systems, warehouse equipment, machinery, and general building maintenance. The technician troubleshoots problems, makes repairs, and performs routine maintenance to help keep operations safe and efficient. Candidates at all experience levels are welcome, including mechanically inclined applicants eager to learn and experienced technicians.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with hands and solving problems.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work from lifts at heights up to 50 feet.
• Willingness to obtain equipment certifications as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic mechanical knowledge or previous maintenance experience.
• Experience with conveyors, electrical systems, welding, hydraulics, or automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, machinery, and warehouse equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace parts and make necessary equipment adjustments.
• Handle general building repairs and maintenance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other maintenance equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and follow safety procedures.
