About The Position

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be a key team player in the upkeep of the property by responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly while possessing a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs. You will maintain the physical condition of the property, utilize hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep, pick up debris and remove other objects from the property, and respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required. You will provide professional and timely responses to all work orders and follow all company policies and procedures. This role also involves cleaning out vacated apartments and assisting the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed, including addressing issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal. You will communicate effectively with residents and coworkers, even in difficult situations, and operate computers and other technological devices to access email and company-utilized software, meeting task deadlines as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment: EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC), HVAC Certification (e.g., HVAC Excellence or equivalent).
  • Ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
  • Plumbing or Electrical Licenses

Responsibilities
