About The Position
Franklin Cove is seeking a motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join their team. They are looking for a dependable individual who demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of apartment maintenance experience and the ability to provide outstanding service to residents, vendors, and fellow team members.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain professional and solution-focused in challenging situations
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
- Weekend availability and participation in the shared on-call rotation are required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certification
- CPO certification
Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment turns, make-readies, and punch work
- Maintain the appearance and upkeep of the community grounds
- Troubleshoot and perform general plumbing and electrical repairs
- Assist with pool maintenance and upkeep
- Maintain an organized and safe maintenance shop
- Participate in emergency maintenance calls and on-call rotations
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a high-quality living experience for residents
