Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • HVAC Experience (EPA Certification Type II or Universal preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in general apartment maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems
  • Previous maintenance experience in multifamily housing is preferred
  • Ability to take after-hours calls
  • Basic tools and reliable transportation required
  • Strong communication skills for effective interactions with residents, employees, and vendors
  • Physical ability to walk the property regularly, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights
  • Willingness to adhere to OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC Experience (EPA Certification Type II or Universal preferred but not required)
  • Previous maintenance experience in multifamily housing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee all buildings, grounds, and amenities
  • Complete service requests and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
  • Promptly respond to repair requests, including after-hours emergencies
  • Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations
