MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - NIGHT
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and quality production processes. The technician will monitor the status of all production machines, work closely with the shift supervisor, and document maintenance activities. A key aspect of the role involves troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements. The technician must also be prepared to respond to emergencies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic systems
- Working knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- High School or Equivalent Education
Nice To Haves
- Plastic molding experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities

- Entering appropriate information in the maintenance Log before departing
- Troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Maintaining and adhering to established Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) and Safety Quality Foods (SQF) compliance requirements
- Responding to any emergency or potential emergency
- Initiating, recommending or providing solutions through designated channels
- Suggesting actions for continual improvement to products, processes or systems and verifying the implementation of solutions
