Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role conducts inspections, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, completes repairs, and supports facility upkeep while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification or trade training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance or related technical experience required.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building maintenance systems.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Must be able to pass a background and pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical school certification or trade training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document completed work.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and emergency repair situations.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, fixtures, and building infrastructure.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and local codes.
  • Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records and logs.
  • Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and equipment installations.
  • Monitor building systems to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
