About The Position

At Scottsdale Golf Retreat, the Maintenance Technician helps keep the property running smoothly, safely, and to the standard guests expect. The role handles day-to-day repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility needs, responding promptly when issues arise. The position supports guest readiness across suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and outdoor and pool areas, and works with housekeeping and guest services to maintain the property.

Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North is a 31-suite boutique property in North Scottsdale, adjacent to Troon North Golf Club. The property is scheduled to open in Fall 2026. As part of the opening team, the Maintenance Technician will help shape the guest experience from day one.

Requirements

• General maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, residential, or commercial setting.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and repair work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Dependable, safety-focused approach to work.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance duties, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine repairs and preventative maintenance throughout guest suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues with minimal disruption to guests.
• Inspect equipment, systems, and property areas to identify maintenance needs before they become larger problems.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair needs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Support upkeep of outdoor and pool-area features as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or larger repair needs to property leadership.
• Work closely with housekeeping and guest services to keep suites and public spaces ready for guests.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the property and guests.
