Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of proven success in building maintenance.
- A valid NH driver’s license (or equivalent) and the ability to meet company insurability standards.
- Ready to sit, stand, climb, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds (or more with assistance).
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational habits, and a passion for mentoring young learners with respect and accountability.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge or certifications in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or boilers are highly preferred.
- advanced degrees are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Review completed tasks from maintenance personnel to ensure top-tier quality standards.
- Research and recommend smart equipment purchases to boost facility safety and performance.
- Oversee training activities and monitor work-based learning assignments for maintenance students.
- Supervise outside contractors to guarantee seamless execution on large repair or replacement jobs.
- Conduct thorough, periodic inspections of building systems to catch issues before they start.
- Partner with vocational programs and staff across departments to enhance student support and facility operations.
