About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll be at the heart of keeping our client facilities running smoothly and efficiently. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with minimum
- 1-2 years of commercial building maintenance or facilities maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, and general building maintenance
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting building equipment in commercial environments
- Proficiency with CMMS software (Corrigo, Maximo, WebTMA, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with ability to interact professionally with building occupants and stakeholders
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment while lifting up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license (if required by the account) and ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed
Nice To Haves
- EPA Universal Certification, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing trade certification
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systems
- Commercial office, laboratory, manufacturing, or critical facilities experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Trade school education or military technical training
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete repairs on building systems and infrastructure while responding promptly to work orders and service requests
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions that prevent larger issues from developing
- Complete general building maintenance including lighting repairs, ceiling tiles, painting, drywall, carpentry, door hardware, plumbing fixtures, and office furniture repairs
- Assist with equipment installations, office moves, furniture modifications, and workspace reconfigurations to support evolving client needs
- Maintain accurate work order documentation and labor tracking using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Corrigo
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, JLL safety policies, and client-specific procedures
