Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, compressed air systems, or facility maintenance.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Respond to production equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
- Support facility maintenance activities, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, compressed air systems, and general building repairs.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Assist with installation, relocation, modification, and startup of production equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety requirements while performing maintenance activities.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, or emergency maintenance activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
