Requirements

  • An adequate toolset is essential for performing daily job tasks efficiently.
  • Independently troubleshooting and executing repairs are critical to maintaining facilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication abilities to address maintenance-related work orders efficiently and collaborate with the team.
  • A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less.
  • An operable vehicle and proof of insurance.
  • Flexibility to participate in the on-call rotation is also important.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade or technical school training combined with at least 2 years of relevant experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic.
  • Alternatively, 3 years of hands-on experience can also qualify you for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Maintain records of repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to respond promptly to work orders.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to upkeep.
  • Engage in a variety of tasks, from minor repairs to larger projects, all aimed at keeping facilities in top condition.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergencies.
