About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a team that keeps our manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently, and with pride for the products we produce and the customers we serve. Here, you will make an impact by: Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and calibrate industrial and commercial equipment in production and utility areas. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, including PLC support, facility systems, and manufacturing process equipment. Work collaboratively to resolve issues and enhance operational performance. Operate industrial vehicles, tools, and equipment. Participate in daily continuous improvement efforts to strengthen safety, quality, service, cost efficiency, and engagement. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
  • High School Diploma or GED (completed before prior to start)
  • Ability to work second shift
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Controls or other maintenance fields.
  • Maintenance experience
  • PLC controls systems experience
  • Experience troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented work style
