Maintenance Technician - Grand South
About The Position
Dominium is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team at Grand South, an 87-unit apartment community in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for the general appearance and maintenance of the property to ensure a great living experience for residents. This position involves monitoring the property for repairs, completing work requests for common areas and apartment units, performing preventative maintenance, assessing and repairing appliances, and assisting in preparing vacant units for new residents. Occasional on-call duties are also part of the role, with a trip stipend provided if called back to the site after regular work hours. Creating and maintaining a safe work environment is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, and painting
- HVAC and EPA experience preferred
- CPO certification preferred
- Valid drivers' license and insurance may be required
Responsibilities
- Monitor property for any repairs or replacements that may arise
- Complete work requests for common areas and apartment units
- Perform preventative maintenance on property
- Assess and repair appliances as needed
- Assist in preparing vacant units ready for new residents
