About The Position

This is an entry-level Maintenance Technician position within our supply chain team, which is dedicated to meeting customer needs through innovative technology and efficient operations. The role involves working in fun and safe environments to support the delivery of state-of-the-art products and services. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with hand tools and are eager to learn and develop a career in maintenance. The company provides training and experience to help turn a passion for tools into a career.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn about hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries.
  • Willingness to be trained to work with electricity.
  • Willingness to be trained to use vendor manuals and procedures for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to enroll in Company provided courses to improve knowledge base.
  • Ability to be trained and MHE certified to operate power material handling equipment (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, etc.).
  • An inclusive approach with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
  • Ability to be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
  • As a Full-Time associate, ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet or more as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasks using vendor manuals and procedures.
  • Operate power material handling equipment, such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, after receiving MHE certification.
  • Adhere to and promote safety procedures and ensure safe work practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers using an inclusive approach to build relationships and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Learn about hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial batteries, including their watering, washing, testing, and repair.
  • Be trained to work with electricity.
