About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, vehicle/golf cart etc.). This role requires a self-starter with leadership and problem-solving skills, capable of performing routine and predictive maintenance, general cleaning, and maintaining a clean work area. The technician must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues, and then repair them. Strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate complex issues professionally. Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments and familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures are required. The role also involves performing preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc., responding to requests in a timely manner, and maintaining maintenance logs and schedules. The ability to use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding is necessary, with soldering and welding being a plus.

Requirements

  • Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC or construction.
  • Two years Electrical Experience minimum.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
  • Must complete all safety, environmental and task training and or certifications.
  • May required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.

  • Soldering and welding a plus
