Maintenance Technician, 2:30p-11p
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician completes basic repairs and preventive maintenance on building and facilities equipment with some supervision. The technician is expected to be self-motivated, follow and learn from higher-level maintenance technicians and the Director of Facilities, and complete work orders with little supervision. The role helps maintain a comfortable physical environment in the facilities in accordance with policies, procedures, standards, and practices established by Atchison Hospital, the Kansas State Department of Health and Human Resources, the Kansas State Fire Marshal, the Health Facilities Accreditation Program, and other local community and governmental agencies. An on-call rotation is required. The position is located at Amberwell Atchison in Atchison, Kansas, and works an evening shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance-type work.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance-type work.
- Post-high-school education related to maintenance.
- Certifications such as HVAC, CET, OSHA 30, or OSHA 40.
Responsibilities
