Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing, facilities maintenance, commercial properties, hospitality, military facilities, or related environments
  • Hands-on experience in at least two skilled trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, or general building maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support community needs
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, rotating on-call shifts, and seasonal schedules as needed
  • Reliable transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call
  • Ability to safely perform physical work and move equipment, tools, and materials as required
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and teammates
  • Complete apartment turns that create an exceptional move-in experience
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
  • Complete service requests efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Perform preventative maintenance and support the overall appearance and functionality of the community
  • Assist with move-in and move-out inspections
  • Support vendor partners and help maintain quality standards
  • May provide guidance and technical support to fellow maintenance team members
  • Participate in a shared rotating on-call schedule to address emergency maintenance needs and support residents when urgent issues arise.
