About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our newly renovated 191-unit apartment community running at its best. This role is ideal for someone with experience maintaining commercial boilers, PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning) units, and building mechanical systems who takes pride in solving problems, preventing issues before they happen, and delivering great service. Hotel, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, and large-facility maintenance professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in apartment maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of boilers, PTAC units, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability for on-call and emergency maintenance duties (rotation)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial boilers and PTAC units preferred.
• HVAC, boiler, or related certifications are a plus.
• Ability to turn a unit: carpentry, painting, plumbing, appliance repair/replacement

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial boiler systems.
• Service, maintain, and replace PTAC units and other HVAC equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and apartment turnovers.
• Complete preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs with a sense of urgency.
• Partner with vendors, contractors, and property management to keep projects moving.
• Take ownership of apartment turns, transforming vacant units into clean, fully functional, move-in-ready homes for new residents.
