About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and company standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete work assignments independently
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related industrial maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of: Industrial machine repair
  • Working knowledge of: Electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of: Mechanical measurements
  • Working knowledge of: Manufacturing equipment maintenance

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Routinely inspect equipment to identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform equipment setup prior to production and teardown following production.
  • Assemble and disassemble production equipment for maintenance and repair.
  • Inspect plant utility systems to identify potential equipment failures.
  • Maintain facility areas outside of production in accordance with the Master Sanitation Plan.
  • Support overall facility maintenance and repair activities as assigned.
  • Safely operate maintenance tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment.
  • Operate gas cutting and welding equipment safely.
  • Operate forklifts and manual/electric pallet jacks (plant certification required).
  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain certification.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and company records.
  • Utilize equipment manuals and technical documentation to support repairs and troubleshooting.
