About The Position
The Maintenance Technician I provides quality maintenance results for guests by applying maintenance skills and customer service expertise and ensuring each unit and building is in working order. The role performs general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and support efficient production. Work includes service requests and repairs, maintenance of make-ready units, basic fixture repair and replacement, and outdoor upkeep. The technician also cleans and inspects building systems, reports deficiencies to a supervisor, and follows company safety programs.
Requirements
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
- Ability to work independently or with others as needed.
- Basic handyman skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and support efficient production.
- Complete directed service requests and repairs, including painting, appliance repair, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
- Perform maintenance work on make-ready units as directed.
- Apply basic repair and replacement knowledge to fixtures and items such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
- Clean and maintain the outside landscape, including emptying trash, picking up trash, and performing general landscape work.
- Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to a supervisor.
- Adhere to the company’s safety programs.
