About The Position

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is a leader in direct mail and print services, experiencing growth after 30 years in business. We are seeking skilled technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on various production equipment, including insert machines, folders, and inkjets, to ensure they are operational and meet production needs. The role requires strong listening skills, patience, and the ability to communicate proper machine usage techniques to operators. Light electrical and computer skills are necessary. We are looking for individuals with an exemplary work ethic, dependability, punctuality, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

Light electrical skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Great time management and organizational skills
3 + years previous work experience on production equipment/machines
Ability to exercise good independent judgment
Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and suppliers
Demonstrates exemplary work ethic; dependable and punctual
Must be able to pass background check including drug screen

Responsibilities

Machine change over and set ups
Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & make adjustments to production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment down time
Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production
Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are done
Continuously obtain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specifications
