Maintenance Technician - Northglen
About The Position
Mercy Northglen Apartments, located in Lincoln, Nebraska on a 4.8 acre site, was developed in 1970. The 60-unit multifamily property has 10 one-bedroom apartments and 50 two-bedroom apartments and consists of five three-level buildings. We are hiring immediately. Benefits start on Day 1 of employment! The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment. This is an on-site position. Pay: $21.00 - 24.00/hourly dependent on experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
- Take direction from the supervisor.
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
- Flexible to change work plans.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
- Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Cleans up after work is complete.
- Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
- Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
