About The Position

Looking for a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced industrial environment? This temporary Maintenance Technician position offers the chance to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing essential equipment. Requirements

  • Ability to learn and follow safe work procedures, work instructions, and waste management regulations.
  • Industrial maintenance experience (minimum two years) or equivalent trade school or military training, with intermediate troubleshooting and repair skills for manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Basic welding experience (SMAW required; GTAW/TIG preferred) and basic knowledge of piping systems and repairs.
  • Ability to calibrate flow meters, mass meters, gas testers, and monitoring equipment.
  • Ability to meet safety and certification requirements, including SCBA medical clearance and fit testing, working at heights with fall protection, and HAZWOPER training (as required after award).
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a stable work history with positive references.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Complete all regulatory monitoring required by the facility.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Execute piping repairs/projects and install new equipment.
  • Swap out pumps, gearboxes, and motors as needed.
  • Load and unload bulk raw materials, finished products, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Follow all applicable Work Instructions (WIs), LSRAs, and work permitting procedures.
  • Monitor and successfully complete assigned training modules.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Perform housekeeping and general labor as directed by management.
  • Demonstrate willingness to train, learn, and adapt to acquire new or advanced maintenance skills to support evolving operational needs.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
