About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility in Evansville, IN, which specializes in breading, batter, and coating blends for Kerry brands and customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Advanced mechanical repair and general welding
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Ability to work with low‑voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a logical, solutions‑driven approach
• Comfortable working closely with production teams
• Willingness to step into a leadership role when needed

Nice To Haves

• 2‑year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing
• Food manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Support shift maintenance operations
• Lead and train maintenance team members
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
• Perform electrical, controls, and PLC work
• Complete PMs and work orders
• Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment
• Maintain safety, quality, and food safety standards
