About The Position
As the Warehouse Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facility Engineer and will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to the building, equipment, and grounds while establishing a safe environment for the facility.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a facilities/maintenance type role (particularly in a warehouse/distribution center).
- Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and handling repairs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems and components of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and other building support systems.
- Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance to include predictive and preventive planned maintenance.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical schematics and blueprints.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the use and handling of hand and power tools.
- A strong foundation of problem-solving skills and written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform regulatory compliance in the facility such as fire system testing, inspection, and escalation
- Perform maintenance on conveyor, motors, dock plates, etc.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and implement low voltage systems
- Execute special projects in the facility as needed
