About The Position

This position requires special skills and/or schooling, including technical training in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry, Metalworking and applications, Plumbing, Conveyors, and Electric forklifts. Qualified candidates must possess skills in a minimum of two of these areas and must be able to read and understand schematics and possess troubleshooting skills. The pay for this position is established by the specific skills required and the amount of training and experience that the individual possesses and is not altered by the probationary period. This position has a starting pay range of $24.10 to $41.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

Technical training in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry, Metalworking and applications, Plumbing, Conveyors and Electric forklifts
Skills in a minimum of two of these areas
Able to read and understand schematics
Possess troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license
Self-starter
Able to work with little supervision or unsupervised at times
Knowledgeable in small repairs and advance technical skills
Carpentry skills
Flexible and able to multi-task as projects are frequently interrupted due to a priority basis
Prior experience in the maintenance field mandatory
Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds
Capable of understanding what needs to be done and doing it quickly
Clean, organized and tidy
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Fabricate materials and build items
Mechanically inclined
Able to use a multi meter to check circuits
Capable of handling on call issues and respond to them
