About The Position

Kane Realty Corporation is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Raleigh, North Carolina, to support the overall maintenance and day-to-day operations of multi-family residential properties. The technician works as part of a team and performs maintenance, repairs, unit preparation, preventative maintenance, grounds work, and pool maintenance. The role includes scheduled 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage and some weekend work. The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
HVAC certification (CFC certification) and CPO certification.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and drug screen.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Professional and courteous manner when interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Must be available to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work.
Repair and treat showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
Prepare units for new move-ins.
Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems.
Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage at pre-scheduled times.
Perform preventative maintenance activities.
Complete grounds work, including grounds pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping.
Perform pool maintenance.
Coordinate special projects as directed by the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Follow oral and written instructions and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
