About The Position
The Maintenance Technician will provide assistance in all aspects of maintenance such as welding, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics. This role involves performing maintenance and repair tasks at the plant, including preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, furnaces, power supplies, and plant operational equipment. The technician will also be responsible for repairing unscheduled equipment issues that cause downtime and completing work orders and PM paperwork. Adherence to the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes is also expected.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance or millwright or welding experience within other manufacturing facilities.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations and policies of the company.
- Self-starter, dependable and work well with other team members.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance/Repair tasks at the plant.
- Preventative maintenance/repair tasks on mobile equipment.
- Preventive maintenance/repair tasks on furnaces, power supplies and plant operational equipment and processes.
- Repairs of unscheduled equipment issues causing downtime.
- Completing work orders & PM paperwork.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
