About The Position
Charming Inns is looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our hotel and restaurant team. The technician is primarily responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repairs on our downtown Charleston, SC hotels including the Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn, and Fulton Lane Inn and and other special projects as assigned. This position will interact with property level employees, corporate senior management, and various vendors.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry.
- Ability to communicate professionally with guests, co-workers and vendors.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day upkeep and repairs on hotels.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Interact with property level employees, corporate senior management, and various vendors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Perform general maintenance.
